How to Assign a Claim to a User

Assigning Claims

If you intend to have multiple users on the Kinetik platform from your company, you can assign one or more people to a claim. Once assigned, a user’s assigned claims can be filtered on the bottom of the Billing Dashboard.

From the Claim Search View

  1. Navigate to any of the views that allow you to see a list of claims. Refer to the Searching Claims article for more information.

  2. Scroll all the way to the right hand side of the claim you’d like to assign, and click the ellipses

  3. Select Assign from that list

  4. When the pop up menu appears, type in the user, or users you’d like to assign the claim to and hit Update

Assigning Multiple Claims

  1. In the Claim Search view, click the checkbox on the left hand side of the list to select a claim, or number of claims

  2. Click the Select Action dropdown menu and pick Assign from the list

  3. When the pop up menu appears, type in the user, or users you’d like to assign the claim to and hit Update

From the Individual Claim View

  1. In the Claim Search view, select any claim to navigate to a window with that claim’s details, called the Claim View

  2. On the Claim View, click Select Action, then pick Assign from that menu

  3. When the pop up menu appears, type in the user, or users you’d like to assign the claim to and hit Update
