My Claim Was Partially Paid. How Do I Get Paid In Full?

In the event your claim was only partially paid, you can adjust the claim to collect the missing amount.

Finding Partially Paid Claims

You can quickly find all of your partially paid claims by clicking the Partially Paid button at the bottom of the Billing Dashboard.

Locating the Discrepancy

Select the partially paid claim you’d like to view, and fix for resubmission.

Scroll to the bottom of the individual claim view, where you can view the services billed and the amount paid. In the Charge column, you’ll find how much you billed the payor for, versus the Paid Amount one column over. You can click on the Adjustment Reason code to see detailed information, including the adjustment amount.

Solving the Problem

Edit the Claim

In the Services area of the claim, click on Edit in the upper corner. Adjust the units, and the charge to coincide with the adjustment amount. Once complete, click Update.

Resubmit the Claim

In the upper right hand corner, click on the button that says Original to reveal a menu. Pick Resubmission from the list and the claim status will change to Ready to Bill.

Now click Select Action and pick Submit Claim from the dropdown menu.
