How To Upload a Claim

Uploading Claims

Kinetik’s RCM platform allows you to upload files to easily create claims for billing. The currently accepted claim file types are .csv, .x12, .txt, .837, and .pdf. Trip files can also be uploaded, with .csv files currently supported.

Step-by-Step

1. Uploading a claim begins on the Billing Dashboard. Select Billing on the left-hand navigation pane to go to the Billing Dashboard.

Note: if the left-hand navigation pane is only displaying icons for each section, click on the arrow under the Kinetik logo to toggle between the condensed and expanded views.

2. Next, select Upload Claims in the upper right of the window. Once selected, the Upload Claims dialog box will appear.

3. You can drag and drop a file into the pop up box, or you can click Browse Files to upload the claim. A status box will appear in the lower right corner. When successful, you can click on the green “File upload successful!” message to see the newly created claims.

If the upload was unsuccessful, the status box will reflect that. Click on the error message to view the segment errors.
