In order to create a Trip on the Trip Assistant platform, you need to associate the ride with a patient. If the patient has not yet taken a trip with your company, they’ll need to be added as a new patient.

There are two ways you can add new patients:
Adding a new patient when creating a trip
When Trip Assistant first opens, you start at the Create Trip menu. If not, navigate there by clicking on Create Trip in the left hand side menu.
Click on New Patient to open the new patient form
Complete the form, including the minimum required information (these fields have asterisks) and finish by clicking Create at the bottom of the form.
Adding a new patient from the patients table
Navigate to the patients table by clicking on Patients in the left hand side menu.
Next, click on Create New Patient in the upper right to show the new patient form.
Complete the form, and finish by clicking Create at the bottom of the form.
