The Duplicate Trip feature allows staff to quickly recreate a new trip using the key details from an existing one. This is particularly useful for repeat or routine rides, reducing manual data entry and saving time. When duplicating a trip, the system pre-fills all existing trip information except for the appointment date and time, which the user must select for the new trip.
Step-by-step
Method 1: Duplicate from All Trips
Navigate to All Trips
Go to the All Trips view in Trip Scheduler.Select a Trip
Locate and select the trip you wish to duplicate.Duplicate the Trip
Click Duplicate Trips to start creating a new trip based on the one selected.
Method 2: Duplicate from Trip Details
Open the Trip
Click into the trip to open the Trip Details page.Open More Actions
Click More Actions in the upper-right corner.Select Duplicate
Click Duplicate to begin the duplication process.

When duplicating a trip, the system will pre-fill all trip information except the appointment date and time.
Enter the New Appointment Date and Time
The user must input the updated date and time for the new trip.Choose How to Proceed:
Confirm – create the new trip as-is
Assign & Confirm – create the trip and send it directly to a provider
Edit & Duplicate – open the duplicated trip to adjust details before finalizing
This workflow provides a fast and accurate way to recreate similar trips while ensuring the date and time are always intentionally updated.
